Second Monday of every month, September through May, 6 to 7 p.m.

Healthy Hearts is for people who have had a heart attack, heart surgery or other heart problems as well as their families and loved ones. Any community members interested in a healthy lifestyle can join, too.

Meetings provide participants an opportunity to ask questions or express concerns regarding heart-related issues. Issues include, but are not limited to: risk factors for heart disease (such as diet, exercise or cholesterol), medication, current research and new heart-related procedures. Most meetings feature a special expert presenter. Past presenters have included physicians, dieticians, pharmacists, nurses and exercise specialists. Topic suggestions are always welcome.
